(Salt Lake City, UT)  --  Utah lawmakers are not in favor of implementing a statewide ban on fireworks.  State Senate Majority Leader Evan Vickers tells KSTU-TV that lawmakers are not in favor of an all-out ban.  They would prefer that Utahns observe local restrictions on fireworks and be extremely careful about the potential wildfire risk.

Several Utahcities have already banned fireworks, and Park City announced yesterday that it was canceling its annual fireworks show due to the ongoing drought.
